To create a community of belonging, daring, and abiding
Branches is a worship community in Houston, TX with a heart for seeing our city transformed by the love of Jesus by beginning and ending with belonging, daring to serve and transform our city, and find deep spiritual life by abiding in the life and love of Jesus.
Sundays at 11 a.m. in the branches building
We begin and end with welcoming all people as God does – so everyone belongs to our community rather than seeks to fit in. Come just as God created you to be. You belong before you believe.
Our posture toward our community is one of service to others and invitation to community that takes risks. Our city and our world hunger for healing and transformation, and we dare to work toward spiritual, social, and cultural change.
We long for deep spiritual life – what Jesus called abiding. We connect our lives to one another in community and to God in prayer and spiritual practice.
