Make Music at St. Luke’s!

Bridges Academy of Fine Arts

Bridges students took over 2400 hours of lessons last academic year in piano, voice, violin, cello, and guitar. Whether you’re 5 or 85, there’s a musical opportunity for you! St. Luke’s is a safe and beautiful venue for lessons, recitals and events. Church membership is not a requirement to study, nor is a profession of faith. We are a welcoming community, easily accessible from downtown, the Medical Center, West University, Galleria and Uptown, and many other nearby neighborhoods and sections of the city. Come and see us!

With several regularly-maintained pianos in teaching rooms, include a few grand pianos, large practice and performing spaces, plus several ensembles and opportunities to perform, we offer a musical learning environment that few other academies can match.

Our instructors have advanced degrees from leading universities and conservatories in Houston and across the country, as well as exceptional performing experience around the globe. Bridges Academy currently offers lessons in piano, organ, voice, violin, cello, guitar, percussion, flute, and clarinet.

SongPlay!

Encourage your child’s neurological and physical development with an engaging curriculum that includes you (or a caregiver) in a sequence of singing and movement that’s literally child’s play! Birth through preschool. Targets five areas of development: musical, physical, intellectual, social and spiritual. Classes are 45 minutes and are followed by snack time. Unlike other music programs, we do not require a one-to-one parent/child ratio, and you may bring siblings to the same class. The eight-week Fall 2019 SongPlay! session begins September 22. Tuition is $115 for St. Luke’s members and $125 for non-members. There is an additional $35 fee for siblings. For more information, please contact Julie Osterman.
